BIDJANGA 10 / 07 / 2021 UPDATE

1) ISEC SALES DISCUSSIONS  ( AFTER DISSEMMINATION )

Mrs  Juliette  and Mrs Martha ( from first group of dissemination in july
2021 ) and Mrs Hermanny ( from second group of dissemination )  have the intention to buy our ISEC after having tested it ; we’ve discussed with them and have proposed they pay for the ISEC via a 3 monthly  instalment ; we are still to arrabnge the start date of their payments, considering most families are still managig the school resumption charges of their children . We remind that we sell our basic version of our ISEC kit at 85 USD ; each of the three next clients will pay  us 30 USD+30 USD+25USD for a three months period.
The restaurant manager , Mr Ayaba has decided we should install the 400W ISEC in his restaurant on November 12,2021 and he plans  to pay us a refundable deposit of 140 USD, if after a 30 days ISEC  testing, he is not satisfied.We remind that our 400W ISEC does cost 285 USD with 4 solar panels of 100W.

2) ISEC  DESIGN AND TESTING

Next week, we  are expecting the delivery of imported ISEC design supplies ; because the weather is not good everyday we have decided to gradually  design our ISEC kits, while waiting for the dry season ( end of november 2021 ) that will help us selling more ISEC kits because there will be sunlight from 6 AM to 6 PM everyday in our region .

3) ISEC RECIPES

We’ve emailed 4 ISEC recipes to the Cal Poly students who work with ISEC Cameroon Program ; our objective in the future is to publish a whole ISEC cookbook based on tropical meals .

4) EXPENSIVE ISEC DESIGN  SUPPLIES IN CAMEROON

We locally buy some ISEC deisgn such as solar panels or Aluminium rails ; but we’ve noticed the aluminium rails and related brackets are expensive in Yaounde ; for example, a 3 meter aluminium rail ais charged 39 USD while one bracket is marketed at 4 USD .This is a serious challenge for our goals of designing 80 ISECs for the Cameroon market ; anyway, we shall try our best , to fullfill the Project conditions and we target to move to funding stage 3, if we successfully  implement our project from the funding stage 2 we’ve received.

5) WEATHER TRENDS

This past week, we had sunlight for 4 days out of 7.
During the dry season, there will be sunlight everyday.

6) TECHNICAL QUESTION TO THE ISEC TEAM

This weekend, we have received in our workshop, the visit of a lady who wanted to know how the ISEC is working ; she asked us if i twas possible to cook with the ISEC in 30 minutes time.We transfer this question to the ISEC Team in CAL POLY.
