BIDJANGA 09 /30 / 2021 UPDATE Empty BIDJANGA 09 /30 / 2021 UPDATE

Mon Sep 27, 2021 4:48 am
1) ISEC DESIGN SUPPLIES To ORDER

This week, we are ordering the necessary supplies to build our new ISECs for the Cameroon market ; an average of 10 ISECs will be designed each month, as from October 2021 ( during eight months ).
Among our orders we will import Nichrome wires,12V/24V switches, 12V/24V USB chargers, for  a start ; and locally, we shall buy solar panels, aluminium cooking pots , high temperature wires, wool for insulation, connectors and MC4 switches.

2) 400W ISEC TESTING ( CONTNUED )

We are still testing our latest ISEC model of 400W and we have an appointment with Mr Ayaba, the restaurant manager, this coming october,02,2021 to discuss  about the  testing schedule of the our new ISEC in his restaurant in Yaounde ; we remind that our new 400W  ISEC involves -among others-four solar panels of 100W/12V each, that we shall install on the roof the client.

3) COOKING WITH THE ISEC IN CAMEROON

Our ISECs will give opportunities to households to cook food ( one to two times a day, depending on the weather conditions ) with more security and it's a cost saving solution as compared to traditional cooking fuels such as LPG gas or firewood.
Out of 10 regions in Cameroon, two of them  ( North region and far north region ) are dry regions ; this means they have sunlight , 10 months out of 12, per year ; we have already one representative from the far north ( Mr Aminou ) who will soon get trained in installing and marketing our iSECs ; We have another representative in the South region ( Mrs Ateba ) ; we are still searching for representatives from  other regions of Cameroon ; all our reprensetatives will be trained as from the end of october 2021and each of them must return to their regions with at least two kits of our ISECs.

Our ISEC reseller program will also empower unemployed  young graduates .who will be trained to install and market our ISECs ; a special advert about it ,will be published over our nationwide newspaper, very soon.

4) FIXED ISEC ( TO DESIGN )
We have decided to design a fixed ISEC ( with eartn bricks or cement blocks )  and install it in our workshop , for demo and testing, by our prospects in Yaounde. As from october 25, 2021, this new fixed ISEC will be operational and will also help charging smartphones via the USB socket that will be installed on it.

5) FUNDING STAGE 2,RECEIVED FROM THE ISEC TEAM ( USA )
We , in ISEC CAMEROON TEAM, are proud to have received  the funding stage 2 budget from the ISEC Team in USA and we Thanks them for their support  to our ISEC innovative program  ; this will enable us to design and sell about 80 ISECs in Cameroon. We are launching a start up named "SUNRISE ISEC" and it will become a small ISEC factory in Cameroon, to design and market ISECs locally.
We also plan to write a teaching program in french language , named "Cuisiner avec la solution solaire ISEC / Cooking with ISEC" and will be submitted to the Ministries in charge of education ( they are three of them in Cameroon ) to adopt our teaching project in primary and secondary schools, including local universities.

6) WEATHER THREATS

These days in Yaounde, we have both the sunlight and the rain , till november 30,2021 ; it means we have an average of 1 to 2 times a day, to cook with the ISEC in Yaounde  ; in Douala, the weather is bad now, with rain every day .
As from december 1,2021, we shall have the dry season ( till mid march ) with a very strong sunlight everyday .
We are sure to sell more ISECs during the dry season, but before that, we focus on designing new ISECs, doing promotions and recruiting marketing representatives.

7) WELCOME TO THE CAL POLY STUDENTS WHO JUST JOINED THE CAMEROON ISEC PROGRAM
We Thanks Pr  Peter Schwartz who just sent us some students from CAL POLY, to work with us within  our ISEC Cameroon Framework ; I have emailed them twice and had last thursday, the opportunity to talk with one of them during the SG Meeting, Eva Kouyate ; YOU ARE ALL WELCOME !
Any time, feel free to have a look at our business web page below, and send your comments :

BIDJANGA 09 /30 / 2021 UPDATE Empty MC4 connectors available in Douala

Mon Sep 27, 2021 1:36 pm
It is nice, to see all your progress!  Very Happy

In Douala, one pair of MC4 connectors costs 1000CFA (1.78USD).
In case you do not have the propper crimping tool, it might make sense to not use MC4 connectors and instead solder the wires together and use heatshrink for insulation.

Aluminium mountig rails and mounting brackets for up to two solar panels cost about 13000CAF (23.14USD).

Wow, $39 is a lot of money! Do you bolt them to the roof? It looks as though they are just lying on the roof. If they are just lying on the roof, then I see no purpose in them being there at all. Is there some way to connect the panel directly to the roofing so a strong wind will not blow it off?

We can use nails and steel wires, to tie solar panels on roofs here and it works ; we can't involve in buying expensive aluminium rails and brackets for our ISECs.
